Battle is a composition of nine toy action figures painted white arranged inside a box framed in black.  Four of the fighters have been pounded head first into the ground.  Two other pairs are squared off against one another in combat.  A lone figure  is curled in the lower right.  A heart painted bright red and surrounded by splashes of red sits in the middle left section, the only color. The box is set on a canvas with a wooden frame. It is part of group of related items including "Battle", "Keep Your Eyes on the Ball", "Lion and Bug", and "Frogs and Alligators". Mixed media.
