Back River is known as a bay area located in the town of Duxbury in Plymouth County, Massachusetts.  It is also the name of a one of a sequence of rivers that begins with the Duck Hill River, becomes the Back River, and merges into the Bourne Wharf River that then flows into Duxbury Bay.
